Recent Intercontinental Madrid Review: "Classic elegance, decidedly 20th (19thr) century sensibilities only with WiFi. When's the last time you saw a tube televisionr Piano in the marble atrium pervades all public spaces during prime hours. Tea and crumpets anyoner Yawn. IC Madrid is tad old fashioned for my taste. Fit for politicians and poseurs and power breakfasts. Wrong side of Castellana  for Salamanca shopping (but your Bently can carry you there in minutes). Highly professional staff, exemplary service all around. Most comfortable beds in the city."
